Foundation Overview
The SABR Foundation was established by the children in honor of their parents, Abdul Samad Adam Kaley faan and Sobira Hussain. Inspired by their legacy, the foundation is dedicated to uplifting vulnerable communities across the Maldives. By understanding the unique challenges facing Maldivians—including geographic isolation, limited resources, and economic dependency—SABR focuses on programs that create sustainable, long-term change. Areas of focus include education, healthcare, economic empowerment, and disaster preparedness, with a commitment to grassroots involvement and community-driven growth.

To create resilient, empowered Maldivian communities through compassionate support, sustainable programs, and meaningful local partnerships. SABR Foundation aims to enhance quality of life, provide educational opportunities, promote health and wellness, and prepare communities for natural disasters, with a vision of fostering self-sufficiency and long-term positive change.

Executive Board
The Executive Board provides strategic guidance (Family members), governance, and oversight for the foundation’s activities. Board members meet regularly to ensure the foundation’s mission is fulfilled, evaluating new programs, and reviewing ongoing projects. The Executive Board comprises individuals with experience in community development, non-profit management, and philanthropy.
